“Actually, we had only asked Buchholz Wördemann Partners to look over our shoulders in order to check our ambitious marketing strategy for the innovative telecommunication brand ZAPP in Rumania. Our goal was to launch Zapp as a new specialist provider on the Rumanian market, which was already controlled by established international competitors (e.g. Orange).

Buchholz Wördemann Partners recommended a radical reorientation of the Sales & Marketing organisation, which after a slow start made the actual launch extremely successful. Within 7 months, the number of new customers rose from a relatively constant 3,000 per month (until June 2002, tendency falling) to almost 15,000 new customers in December 2002. Moreover, the key factor is that the new marketing strategy addressed the target segment successfully.

Buchholz Wördemann Partners not only strategically managed the growth project, but also implemented it successfully as the acting marketing and sales directors. There are a very few consultants who can demonstrate such a healthy mixture of strategic clarity and excellence in performance in the area of marketing and sales.

“There are many consultants, but few marketing consultants with such practical expertise. Programmable success therefore has a name.

With Buchholz/Wördemann, we have established new concepts on the market for two of Germany’s leading drugs.

Both have made critical contributions to the successful turnaround of these products within a very short time. On the basis of these strategic concepts, sales increased in one case from 40 million Euro to 195 million Euro, our market share rose by approx. 10%, and we have become the market leader.

In the other case, we gained a 5% market share in just 9 months after having been losing market shares over the last 10 years, and have regained our position as the market leader.
